Margaret M. Williams
(1916-2013)
After living with Alzheimer's disease for more than a decade, my mother died earlier this month. She dedicated her life to her family, which flourished, leaving behind 47 living descendants. (A daughter and grandson predeceased her.)
She was a a survivor and a role model for those who knew her. She taught me the meaning of unconditional love and the importance of giving support and encouragement to those around you. Her life was about "putting one foot in front of the other" in bad times, adapting when necessary, and loving, laughing, and giving as much as possible. She never gave up.
She put in her miles. Her time to sleep has come.

Dear Margaret..I'm so sorry to hear you've lost your mother. I know it's been a long haul, but endings are final in a way that illness is not. She has left a loving supportive family who will keep her memory in many large and small ways. That's a beautiful legacy. Love, Julie
Dear Little Sister of Mine,
Your art blog entry is beautiful. The picture is poignant beyond words.
And so we walk on, covering the miles WE have to go.
Love,
J
Wishing you peace and joy in her memory. This is a beautiful post and a testament to what a wonderful woman your mom was.
Very nice tribute. Thank you. LaVonne
Our condolences on the loss of your mother. No matter how prepared we are, the loss of a mother leaves a big emptiness in one's heart.

Mom,
You wrote that so well. Concise like Grandma would have liked, and yet I gleaned so much from it if I hadn't known her, I would now. I love that you are so great at articulating emotional things with a steady hand, so to speak.
Love you! Rach
