First you find a person turning 60--my husband Mike.
When the port-a-potties are delivered to the wrong spot, gather gypsy children to help you move them.
Next you dig a pit and build a fire to roast a pig.
Sit back and drink tequila.
Entertain and gross out the children by preparing the pig.
Ask daughter Meg to cook for 60.
Set up the keg.
Gather family and friends.
Unearth the pig 14 hours after burying and find it--NOT DONE!!
No problem, put it on the grill.
OOPS!!
YIKES!!
Pork is pronounced done.
A few words before we eat our crispy pork.
Blackened pork or perfectly cooked chicken satay?
Finally we cut the cake.
Grandson Noah finds the cake delicious!
Oh well, what's a Godfrey event without a fire?
Love you, Mike!
