Yes, I've been floating below the radar for a week. It was a lovely trip down the Rogue River. And don't let the photo fool you, I only row short sections of the river when it's very flat water.
The scenery is so beautiful...
But the river can be dangerous. Here is a small inflatable kayak wrapped around a rock.
After a morning and lunch on the river, we enjoy a long afternoon of relaxing...
And perhaps painting.
We saw a lot of wildlife including birds that posed for us. Here's a cormerant drying out.
And a great blue heron.
